Lou Turchetta is the founder and co-director of Passport to Languages.  Lou works as a psychologist but his passion for Italy and it's culture along with his desire to reconnect to his roots inspired him to beging the study of Italian.  Initially, Lou began taking courses at local colleges.  He later began to organize Italian classes with the intention of providing an opportunity for busy adults like himself to engage in the study of a language in a relaxed, enjoyable environment.  The start of Passport to Languages has allowed Lou to share this opportunity with others who share his interest and passion for languages.  Lou not only organizes the classes, but he is also a student in many of the classes.  The study of Italian has become a lifelong hobby for him.

Daniela Ciccone is the co-director and Italian Instructor of Passport to Languages.  She is a certified Italian and Spanish teacher, holding a BA in Italian with a minor in Spanish, a BS in Education and MEd in counseling.  Raised in an Italian-speaking household and spending many childhood summers in Italy, Daniela brings authenticity to her Italian language instruction.  Daniela spent an academic year studying in Florence, Italy and a semester in Granada, Spain.  With eight years of experience teaching in the public school system, as well as eight years of teaching adults, Daniela brings a wealth of experience to Passport to Languages' classroom. Her enthusiasm for Italian and fun loving personality make her classes interesting and enjoyable.

Katie Ciccone is a Passport to Languages Italian Intructor. She is a certified Italian and English as Second Langauge teacher, holding a B.A. in Italian and Secondary Education, and a minor in English as a Second Language.   Katie spent a year studying in Florence,Italy and travels to Italy frequently with her family. Katie has 12 years of teaching experience which include public high schools and adult instruction.  Katie also holds a Masters of Education in Reading and enjoys incorporating readings into her lessons.  Katie enjoys all things Italian and brings her enthusiasm for language and culture into the classroom.

Matt Papino is a Passport to Languages Italian Instructor. He is a certified Italian and Spanish teacher holding B.A. in Italian, Spanish, and Secondary Education with a minor in International Development.  Matt also earned a Masters in Italian from Middlebury College in Florence Italy.  Matt teaches Spanish and Italian in the public school system and has traveled extensively throughout Italy and Europe.  He is proud to share his family's heritage with his students and his fresh approach makes his courses engaging and entertaining.
