This is an introductory course designed for people who have no prior knowledge of Italian.

  • Course topics this session: pronunciation, greeting, days, dates, numbers, expressing personal information and an introduction to basic grammar concepts.

ITALIAN BEGINNER 1                                    8-week session - $100                                  Tuesday 6:00–7:00pm ET

This course is designed for students who enrolled in the Introduction to Italian class in Winter Session (Tues 6pm) or anyone who has some previous basic knowledge of Italian and does not need an introductory course.

  • Course topics this session: food vocabulary (identifying foods and beverages, expressing prices, preferences, likes and dislikes, dialogues related to ordering food) and continued practice of basic grammar concepts covered in the Introduction class.
  • This course does not require a textbook.

ITALIAN BEGINNER 2                                    8-week session - $100                                  Tuesday 7:00–8:00pm ET

This course is designed for students who enrolled in the Beginner 1 class in Winter Session (Tues 7pm) or anyone who has some previous basic knowledge of beginner level Italian grammar (ie: are, ere, ire verbs).

  • Course topics this session: Clothing vocabulary (identifying articles of clothing, dialogues related to shopping in Italy), weather expressions, idiomatic expressions with "fare"
  • This course does not require a textbook.

This course is designed for intermediate level students.  The course uses the textbook Realidades 3 which reviews various grammar      concepts while introducing new vocabulary.
