This is an introductory course designed for people who have no prior knowledge of Italian.

  • Course topics this session: pronunciation, greeting, days, dates, numbers, expressing personal information and an introduction to basic grammar concepts.

ITALIAN BEGINNER 2                                    7-week session - $90                                    Tuesday 6:00–7:00pm ET

This course is designed for students who enrolled in the Beginner 1 class (Tues 6pm) in Spring Session 2 or anyone who has some previous basic knowledge of Italian and does not need an introductory course.

  • Course topics this session: clothing vocabulary (practice of dialogues and expressions related to shopping in Italy), weather expressions, idiomatic expressions with fare and continued practice of basic grammar concepts.
  • This course does not require a textbook.

ITALIAN BEGINNER 3                                    7-week session - $90                                    Tuesday 7:00–8:00pm ET

This course is designed for students who enrolled in the Beginner 2 class (Tues 7pm) in Spring Session 2  or anyone who has some previous basic knowledge of beginner level Italian grammar (ie: are, ere, ire verbs).

  • Course topics this session: House vocabulary (identifying and describing furniture), prepositions, irregular verbs (dovere, potere, volere) and continued practice of basic grammar concepts.
  • This course does not require a textbook.
