This is an introductory course designed for people who have no prior knowledge of Italian.

ITALIAN BEGINNER 1                                    8-week session - $100                                  Tuesday 6:00–7:00pm ET

This course is designed for students who enrolled in the Beginner 1 class (Tues 6pm) in Spring Session 1 (The class title remains the same) or anyone who has some previous basic knowledge of Italian and does not need an introductory course.

  • Course topics this session: city vocabulary (identifying places within a city, asking for and giving directions, prepositions of location) and continued practice of basic grammar concepts.
  • This course does not require a textbook.

ITALIAN BEGINNER 2                                    8-week session - $100                                  Tuesday 7:00–8:00pm ET

This course is designed for students who enrolled in the Beginner 2 class (Tues 7pm) in Spring Session 1 (The class title remains the same) or anyone who has some previous basic knowledge of beginner level Italian grammar (ie: are, ere, ire verbs).

  • Course topics this session: Family vocabulary, people vocabulary, descriptive adjectives, possessive adjectives, idiomatic expressions with "avere"
  • This course does not require a textbook.
